Inventory InfoèThe Inventory Info menu, lists the inventory masters
like Stock Group, Stock Items, Units of Measure of the company, using which you
can create, alter and display the inventory master details.
Stock GroupèStock Groups are
helpful in the classification of Stock Items. You can group Stock Items under
different Stock Groups to reflect their classification based on some common
features such as brand name, product type, quality, and so on. Grouping enables
you to locate Stock Items easily and report their details in statements. Ex: -Cloths, Toys,
Vegetables, Fruits, Books, Spices, Mobile, etc.
Create
Single Stock Groups
1.
Go to Gateway of Tally > Inventory Info. > Stock
Groups > Create
2.
Enter
the Name of the Stock Group.
3. Select Primary in under field. Accept
it.
Stock ItemèStock
Item refers to goods that you manufacture or
trade. It is the primary inventory entity and is the lowest level of
information on your inventory. You have to create a Stock Item in
Tally.
Ex:-Apple, Onion, Black
paper, T-Shirt, Axe, oil, Cup, Mat
Create Single Stock Items

Create Single Stock Items

Items> Create (under Single Stock
Item ).
2.
Enter
the Name of the Stock Item.
3.
The field Under
will the show the list of groups which you have created earlier. Select
according to your choice.
4.
The field Unit
will show the Unit list which you have created earlier. Select according to
your choice.
5.
Type the
Quantity and Rate.
6.
Accept the Screen
Unit of Measure:-मापने की यंत्र/इकाई- Unit of
measure is the unit of weight dimension of any item.
Create
Unit of Measure (UOM)
